How much will it cost?

Is there an age limit on joining?
There is no upper age limit on joining Medicash Smile provided that the individual is still actively employed within the organisation. There’s no medical required to join and premiums are not based on age.
Will we receive annual claims reports for our clients?
Yes. On request we are able to provide you with an annual report showing how many claims were made for each of the benefits by your clients’ employees, and the total amount claimed. However, for data protection reasons these will be group figures as we cannot supply figures on an individual basis.
How easy is it to set up a policy?
Setting up a new company is easy. Once the contracts have been agreed and signed, all you need to do is supply the required information from your client in the electronic format supplied by us and we’ll do the rest.
Can my client tie this in with pay reviews?
Yes. Adding a company paid health cash plan to your clients’ staff benefits forms a good negotiating tool when reviewing pay. Medicash Smile is a valuable benefit with a high perceived value from those who use it.

Medicash is a not-for-profit organisation that is run solely for the benefit of its members. Around 80% of our premium income is paid straight back to members in benefits, while any profits that are generated are either reinvested in the business, helping to improve our products and service for the future, or donated to health related charities through our two charitable trusts.
