For company paid schemes, the pre-existing conditions clause in
the Terms and Conditions is waived. However, Birth of a Child
claims are still subject to a 12 month waiting period.
On employee funded schemes, pre-existing conditions in relation
to Inpatient Stays and Hospital Daycase claims are always subject
to a 12 month waiting period before benefit can be claimed
regardless of any promotional offer that may apply to other
benefits.
