Medicash Announced As Regional Business Award Finalist

Medicash has today been announced as a finalist in the prestigious Liverpool Daily Post Regional Business Awards in the Corporate Social Responsibility category.

Now, the countdown begins before the winner is announced at a glittering black tie ceremony in the City's Anglican Cathedral on June 23.

Bill Gleeson, Business Editor of the Daily Post and chairman of the judging panel said: "The quality was very strong this year. All of the businesses on our shortlist showed strong financial performance despite the recent tough times and are typical of those the government is looking to for further growth."

The Corporate Social Responsibility category is sponsored by Jaguar Landrover. In today's Daily Post the coverage stated that judges were looking to reward businesses that made a beneficial impact by giving something back to the wider community, whether in the form of money, paid staff time or the use of some other resource.
