Medicash expands team
Medicash has recruited a new broker
manager to strengthen its sales team. Russell Upton, 40, joins from
BUPA and will be responsible for managing relationships with
intermediaries and generating sales.
Chief Executive Sue Weir said: "We have seen a sharp rise in the
take up of corporate plans and decided to create a new role to
address the fact that intermediaries are critical to maintaining
this success. Russell comes from a strong background in PMI sales
and we are pleased he has chosen to join us. "
Russell previously worked for BUPA for nine years where he led
intermediary development.
A new marketing executive has also been appointed.
Emily Bowers, 24, joins the organisation from the travel website
Simonseeks.com where she worked in online marketing.
Emily graduated in Business Studies at Chester University before
working for Churchill China Plc and the online charity catalogue
retailer Act Now One.
Sue Weir said both appointments were high calibre and a
reflection of Medicash's commitment to continued growth and
development.
