Medicash gets connected with telecoms giant
Liverpool based cash plan provider Medicash has secured
a contract with one of the UK's leading business telecoms
providers, Chess Telecom.
Medicash has been signed up by the Cheshire based company to
provide cash plans for their workforce of over 100 people. The
plans mean staff can access a wide range of everyday healthcare
benefits which also include discounted gym membership, onsite
health screening and access to both telephone and face-to-face
counselling if needed.
Chess Telecom's director of HR and compliance Anne Binnie said:
"We have a very loyal and motivated workforce and an absence rate
of less than 1%. It is important for us to maintain this and reward
employees for their hard work - the Medicash plan helps us to do
this.
"We switched to Medicash as the plan complemented our existing
employee wellbeing strategies and offered us a comprehensive
package. The plan includes far more benefits than previous schemes,
such as the global second medical opinion service Best Doctors, and
it has also helped us reduce our PMI premiums."
Chess has recently announced that turnover has increased to £30m
following the acquisition of a number of telecoms companies.
Chief executive of Medicash Sue Weir said: "We are delighted to
be working with such an exciting and employee focused company like
Chess Telecom. The plans are proving to be very popular with staff
who are making the most of the wide range of benefits available to
them."
The contract with Chess Telecom is one of a string of new
business wins for Medicash over the last few months, including
national law firm DWF, Lees Solicitors LLP and ACC Liverpool.
Chess also offer their staff a breakfast club with organic fruit
and mineral water, stress relieving massages, a staff loyalty
scheme and the Bike to Work scheme where staff can save up to 50%
off the cost of a bicycle.
