Medicash marching on with Saints for second year running
Liverpool healthcare cash plan provider Medicash has
been named as the official headline sponsor of St Helens RLFC
(Saints) for the 2011 season.
Having sponsored last season's away shirts, Medicash is now
upping its game to sign a new exclusive deal which will see the
brand emblazoned on both Saints home and away shirts.
Throughout the season Medicash will benefit from prominent
branding at home games and heavy exposure through Saints marketing
and promotional activity in addition to Sky TV coverage.
Chief executive of Medicash Sue Weir said: "We are delighted to
renew our partnership with Saints and are looking forward to
another successful season.
"Medicash is committed to making a real difference to the Club,
its fans and the people of St Helens. Saints does invaluable work
within the community and through our partnership we aim to continue
developing projects together which we hope will benefit more
individuals and organisations across the region. We think the new
kit looks great and we're hoping for a positive reaction from
fans."

Saints Players James Roby and Josh Perry
modelling the new kit as revealed for the first time on Wednesday 3
November 2010.
Saints chief executive Tony Colquitt said: "We are delighted to
have teamed up with Medicash once more. Sponsorship and partnership
are critical to us in terms of funding and development and the
continued support from Medicash is a great boost both for the club
and the fans. Both organisations have longstanding charitable and
community links and we look forward to combining our resources for
another year to deliver more initiatives which will make a real
difference to the people of St Helens and beyond."
Medicash will continue to work closely with Saints and the
Saints Community Development Foundation which works directly with
more than 50,000 local young people delivering programmes around
health, sports coaching, local heritage and education.
Saints are one of the top rugby league clubs in the country and
is one of the most successful clubs around today. They were
runners-up in this year's Rugby Super League and finalists in the
Super League Grand Final.
Medicash has enjoyed a string of new business wins over the last
six months. It is expected the increased exposure on the back of
the Saints deal will impact positively on take up of cash plans
amongst corporates and individuals across the North West.
