Liverpool based health insurer Medicash has announced that it recently acquired Health@Work Consultancy Services for an undisclosed sum.

The deal was completed on 22 March 2019.  Since then the Health@Work team have moved in to Medicash’s head office at One Derby Square, Liverpool.

The merger supports Medicash’s growing focus and strategy on developing a more rounded health and wellbeing offering and will allow both organisations to take advantage of a greater range of service and product offerings and increased skills base.

Health@Work was established over 25 years ago as a full-service consultancy whose aim is to help firms improve the health, safety and wellbeing of their employees.

Health@Work’s services include health and safety assessments, policy reviews and training; wellbeing audits; mental health awareness training; health checks; as well as first aid and defibrillator training.

For the past 10 years Health@Work have developed and delivered the nationally recognised Workplace Wellbeing Charter, helping to improve the health of businesses and organisations such as BAE Systems, Kenwood, Everton Football Club and United Utilities.
