Business Development Manager – Field Based
£Competitive, plus performance related bonus, company car & health cash plan

Medicash is a leading provider of affordable health plans to customers within the UK. An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a well motivated Business Development Manager to join our team.

This is the ideal role for a target driven sales professional looking to undertake a rewarding and challenging opportunity with an ethical company. The successful candidate will receive continuous training and will play a key role in our future growth, profitability and success.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and selling our unique health plans directly to customers and via brokers.

You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with corporate customers and brokers to secure new sales and generate revenue. Following-up sales leads, you’ll identify business development opportunities and meet with customers in order to effectively promote our products.

Utilising your comprehensive understanding of the product range, you’ll influence decision makers and close opportunities. Additionally, you’ll assist with the development and testing of new products and keep abreast of competitor activities.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least three years’ sales and/or client development experience with a track record of delivering sales solutions 

  • A successful B2B sales track record with a proven track record of securing major client wins 

  • Proactive skills in prospecting, arranging appointment and creating new business 

  • Strong commercial and financial awareness 

  • A full driving licence 

As a Business Development Manager, you must possess excellent presentation, communication and persuasion skills with a professional, credible manner. Ambitious and determined, you must also have the ability to build strong, profitable relationships and influence key decision makers.

A financial services background would be beneficial to your application, as would experience of general insurance or cash plan products.
