Meet our Executive Team

Andrew joined Medicash in March 2025, bringing more than 30 years’ experience in regulated financial services in the UK and internationally, including extensive experience at CEO and Board level.

As Chief Executive, Andrew provides strategic leadership across the organisation, with a strong focus on good governance, sustainable growth and delivering positive outcomes for customers, colleagues and the communities Medicash serves.

In 2023, Andrew was awarded an MBE for services to the local community. Outside of work, he enjoys a wide range of sports, listening to music and spending time with his family.

Paul joined Medicash in 2005 and became an Executive Board Director in March 2017.

Paul is the company’s Chief Commercial Officer with responsibility for leadership across all aspects of commercial strategy – from sales and marketing to business development and partnerships. He also oversees our commercial subsidiary, Health@Work.

In his spare time, Paul is a keen traveller and places a strong emphasis on maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle.

Andy joined Medicash in 2011 and became an Executive Board Director in March 2017.

Previously our Finance & IT Director, Andy became Chief Operating Officer in 2025. He provides strategic leadership across both Finance and Customer Operations, ensuring that we deliver excellence, efficiency and value to our policyholders.

Away from work, Andy enjoys coaching his son’s football team and spending time with his family.

Paul joined Medicash in February 2022 having supported the organisation as an IT consultant since 2014.

As Chief Technology Officer, Paul has responsibility for strategic technology planning, cyber resilience, information security and ISO 27001 compliance. He ensures technology supports a seamless experience for customers, clients and colleagues alike.

In his spare time, Paul enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly dog walking and exploring the Lake District.

Alex joined Medicash in July 2025 as Chief Risk Officer, bringing extensive experience in governance, risk and compliance gained in both the nuclear and financial services industries.

Alex leads the Risk and Compliance function and acts as Company Secretary.

Outside of work, Alex is a keen tennis player and enjoys watching sport and travelling.

Dan joined Medicash in November 2025 as Head of Change and Transformation, bringing extensive UK and international experience in leading complex change programmes across multiple industries.

Dan is responsible for driving strategic transformation across the organisation, strengthening delivery capability and ensuring change initiatives bring sustainable improvements for customers, colleagues and the wider business.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys competitive sport, keeping fit, travelling and walking his cocker spaniel.
