Workplace Savings and Benefits magazine has crowned Medicash ‘Healthcare and Wellbeing Provider of the Year’ in its 2015 awards.
The Workplace Savings and Benefits Awards recognise both employer and provider excellence. The awards are designed to reward healthcare providers that have delivered the highest level of innovation, performance and service throughout the past year.
A glittering ceremony took place on Thursday September 10 at the Royal Garden Hotel London and was attended by leading HR and finance professionals from across the UK.
Medicash sales director Paul Gambon said: “We are delighted with this recognition. The last 12 months have represented a record year for us and the award is testament to the hard work and commitment of all our staff. 2014 saw an unprecedented 85% increase in the take-up of our corporate plans, taking the total number of Medicash policyholders to 170,000 – up 16% on the previous year.”
The Workplace Savings and Benefits Healthcare and Wellbeing Provider of the Year category was open to all private medical insurers and cash plan providers in the UK. Judges evaluated the impact on clients’ organisational objectives, innovation and quality of service levels before deciding that Medicash was the winner.
This year Medicash has also been nominated for a string of other prestigious industry awards. COVER Magazine has shortlisted Medicash in the Cash Plans, Best Promotion, Best Service, Best Use of Technology and Special Innovation Products categories for the COVER Excellence Awards 2015. These awards seek to recognise and reward firms who have been innovating and serving customers to the highest standards.
