HealthLens, powered by VivaScore®, is a revolutionary digital health tool that provides insights into your overall health by checking key health indicators such as blood pressure, heart rate, cardiovascular disease risk and stroke risk, simply by using your smartphone.
Using transdermal optical imaging, it analyses facial blood flow and provides information and actionable insights to help you manage and improve your health through monthly scans and an indicative health score. This will help identify any changes to your health over time as well as potential risks, allowing you to make informed decisions about your health.

How it works
Face detection and tracking
Using your smartphone or tablet, HealthLens uses transdermal optical imaging to automatically detect and scan the blood flow under the skin on your face.
Blood flow data extraction
Human skin is translucent. Light and its respective wavelengths are reflected at different layers below the skin and can be used to reveal blood flow information in the human face.
Signal processing and analysis
Extracted facial blood flow data is collated and analysed by the VivaScore® embedded DeepAffex™ engine which applies advanced signal processing and Deep Learning AI models to predict physiological and psychological effects.
Get your results
Results are then sent back to your device for display and further analysis. It will give you indications such as your heart rate, blood pressure, cardiovascular disease risk, vascular capacity, as well as your heart attack and stroke risk. You will also be given an overall score which can be compared to the average for your demographic.
Track your progress over time
Each month you can repeat your scan and track changes over time. Armed with the insights from your previous scans you can make lifestyle or dietary changes and monitor the impact these have on your overall HealthLens score over time.
