My Medicash Plan is ending – what next?

If you have received a notification from Medicash, either by text, app notification or letter, you will have been informed of the date that your cover ends.  But what does this mean for you?

When will my cover stop?

You will be covered for any treatment undertaken and paid for up until 23:59 on the day that your cover finishes but will not be covered for any further treatments or costs incurred after this date.

Will I still be able to access the My Medicash App?

Once your cover has ceased you will no longer be able to access the My Medicash App and you should delete this from your smartphone or tablet.  We strongly recommend that you submit any claims via the App prior to the date that your cover stops.

How do I submit a claim after my policy has finished?

As your policy has been closed you will no longer be able to submit claims via the My Medicash App or online.  Instead, you will need to download a claim form here and post this back to us together with your receipts.  Please note, all claims must be received 26 weeks from the date of treatment.
