My Medicash Plan is ending – what next?

If you have received a notification from Medicash, either by text, app notification or letter, you’ll have been informed of the date your Remedi membership will end. Here’s everything you need to know.

When will I lose access?

You’ll continue to have access to your Remedi services until 11:59pm on your membership end date.

After this time, you’ll no longer be able to use the digital health and wellbeing services included within your Remedi plan

.

Will I still be able to access the My Medicash App?

No. Once your Remedi membership has ended, access to the My Medicash app and the digital wellbeing services included with your plan will no longer be available.

If your employer renews or replaces your membership in the future, you’ll be able to access your services again using your updated membership details.

I was using one of the digital health services. What happens now?

Access to services such as virtual healthcare, mental wellbeing support and other digital wellbeing tools is provided while your Remedi membership is active.

Once your membership ends, you’ll no longer be able to access these services through Remedi. If you’re currently receiving support or treatment, we recommend speaking to the relevant provider about any ongoing care or alternative arrangements before your access ends.

Can I continue my Remedi membership personally?

Remedi is currently available as an employer-funded digital wellbeing plan for organisations with 500 or more employees and isn’t available for individual purchase. If you’re moving to a new employer, you may wish to check whether they offer Medicash as part of their employee benefits package.
